Joan Jett - Live At The Malibu Beach Club (2021)

Returning from her British excursion after the split of The Runaways in 1979, Joan Jett was booked in to perform at the legendary Malibu Beach nightclub, on 1st May 1981, for broadcast by WLIR-FM – armed and dangerous with LA punks The Blackhearts, ripping up the airwaves with her own brand of sexed up vitriolic rock n' roll. This performance showcases Jett at the highpoint of her career, in between her 1980 solo debut and the upcoming I Love Rock N' Roll, the album that would establish her as an international rock star.
