Escape to Scorraig

This book describes some of the life of a Crofter family in The Northwest Highlands of Scotland in the second half of The 20th Century. It tells of their ups and downs and eventually of their ups once more.
There are sheep cattle salmon and the neighbours, some weird and some not but mostly entertaining to the author in one way or another. The sea is always at their elbow to keep them under some sort of control.
